Home of the German Gymnastics Society established in London c1861. Arguably the first purpose-built gymnasium in Britain. Building was one of first ever to host the indoor events of the National Olympian Games in 1866. Original bolt-laminated timber arch roof. Now contains exhibitions of Argent's regeneration of the 67 acre King's Cross Central development and neighbouring projects.
