UCL - Cruciform Building

Designed by Alfred Waterhouse in 1896 the Cruciform Building was opened in 1906 as the new home for University College Hospital it now houses the UCL Wolfson Institute for Biomedical Research Research and the UCL Medical School teaching facility. Many of the original unusual features have been retained including the Royal Dalton collected of tiled children's stories, especially commissioned for the then Children's Ward.
